Iberia Airport Services has submitted a series of proposals to AENA to obtain licenses handling —Ground handling, from aircraft landing to takeoff—in 41 Spanish airports. In 37 of them it will compete alone and in the other 4 together with other companies in the sector.

And it is that AENA has opened a public tender hire ground handling services at 41 of the 46 airports in the Spanish network. Functions included in the activity include baggage assistance, runway operations assistance, and cargo and mail assistance related to physical handling between the airport terminal and the aircraft.
